Herronc33 asked "When playing with multiple guitars what are some tips, guidelines, or even examples of how you can make them compliment each other. I've noticed that it tends to sound muddy if you play the same thing. Thanks and God Bless, Chris." Another benefit of being a member of JamPlay is the video response section. Rhythm & Treble - May 26th, 2008 (3 minutes, 22 seconds)
Mingofalls asks, "I have been experimenting with my Les Paul Standard electric guitar, and I know not all guitars are set up the same way, however, I'm wanting to know more about my 3 way Rhythm & Treble switch. When do you use Rhythm, and when do you use Treble? I have 4 knobs, two that controls the front pick ups volume and tone, and the other two for the rear pick up volume and tone. I'm confused on how to set these up when playing, when to use which one, etc... Could you shed some light on this subject? Thanks." View Response
Down Picking and Speed - December 3rd, 2008 (4 minutes, 41 seconds)
Seppo asked "Hi everybody! I've been trying to play some easy metal song like Walk from Pantera or for whom the bell tolls from Metallica, but I've had some problems with fast downpicking parts. I can't keep up with the speed, just playing the open E string fast is hard for me. I was wondering if I might have something wrong with my technique, 'cos the upper part of my right arm gets painful easily from fast downpicking. Sorry for bad grammar and thanks for helping! :)" View Response
Mark Lincoln - Singing - April 21st, 2008 (3 minutes, 10 seconds)
Ricky54326 says, "I have a question, I was at the store the other day and I saw some spray that's supposed to help singing or something, what does it exactly do? Is it worth buying?" View Response
D Major Chord - February 25th, 2008 (2 minutes, 23 seconds)
Brianm579 asks, "It is easier for me to play the D Major chord with my 1 finger on the first string (second fret), my 2 finger on the third string (second fret), and my 3 finger on the second string (third fret). The instruction and chord charts show it slightly different, with the 1 and 2 fingers switched from how I do it. Is there any problem with playing it the way I do? I have found it makes it easier with some chord changes. I am concerned that down the road it could cause problems as I learn more." View Response
Alternate Picking Hand Positioning - August 2nd, 2007 (6 minutes, 58 seconds)
